	Introduction
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to the 1st version of DeepTrouble. I estimate this version's
playing strength somewhere in the range of 1400 to 1600.
I hope average chess players will enjoy beating up on this version
of DeepTrouble. ;)

I could have waited and tested for another 6 months to a year, but whats
the fun in that. I believe Deeptrouble has the honor
of being at the bottom of the chessprogram food chain at this time... :)

DeepTrouble only runs on Win32 systems (Windows 95/98/2000) using Pentium
Processors.

It will take advantage of MMX instructions if run Pentium II or III processors.

It is designed to be used with Winboard for displaying the board
and getting user input.

	Installation
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Simply unzip all the files in the zip archive into your Winboard
directory and add the following to Winboard.ini

		/firstChessProgramNames="DeepTrouble
		\"DeepTrouble\""

or

		/secondChessProgramNames="DeepTrouble
		\"DeepTrouble\""

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
	WinBoard
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Supported functions in Winboard:

	1) Reset Game.

	2) Conventional Chess Clock only.

	3) Can play Black or White against Human or Computer.

	4) Abort.

UnSupported functions in Winboard:

	1) Positions cannot be set up at this time.

	2) Step functions are not supported.

DeepTrouble may flash its windows for a bit when it is first started up
by Winboard. Deeptrouble should make its console and mainform window
visible when Winboard is exited. Just do "File/Exit" to end DeepTrouble.

I plan on adding the ability for users to design
their own personality's in the future.
