Ares 1.0 (WB/UCI)
new Win32 engine by Charles Roberson
WB implementation is minimal, UCI is preferred
there is mention of a 64-bit engine, but it is not included

Gaviota 0.74.6 (WB)
- fixed a bug that prevented Gaviota to be used without logs
- building Gaviota tablebases require much less RAM memory (< 500 Mb)
- default download contains a smaller book. A bigger book is available separately

Winboard 4.4.1
C source code only release so far, no Win builds yet
- This is mainly a bugfix release, there are very few new features
- Premove and the GUI book are the most important fixes
- We also suppressed the popping up of the deprecated analysis window, which still reared its head in 4.4.0 because of a commit error
- Further a lot of small bugs were fixed, mostly pertaining to ICS mode
- For WinBoard the ICS chat-window patch is now included
